Our Mission:
The City of Tamarac’s Historical Society will research, collect, preserve and exhibit the history of our City.
We are a volunteer organization of city residents with an interest in Tamarac's roots.  We research and collect items and articles from the cities past and share it with the city's residents by way of displays and a biweekly information table.  We also are in the process of creating a searchable digital database for Tamarac.

The Tamarac Historical Society was awarded the Judge Clayton Nance Award - 2019 at the 45th Annual Pioneer Day Award Ceremony.

This award is given to those who have fostered the history of their city.

Thank you to the Broward County Historic  Preservation Board for this honor.

To celebrate the City's 50th Birthday we wrote a book.  We still have copies for sale and the proceeds go to our O
rganization.  While supplies last you get a copy of Ken Behrings book, Road to Purpose free with purchase our book.  Our book is $21.99.
